Weekend race review (from Tim)

Once again BooKoo-Birmingham Bicycle lines up and takes a couple of wins!

At the Sumatanga training races the boys and girls controlled the “B” race to deliver a 1,2 finish compliments of Darrell and Shawn and the in the spirited “A” race the guys despite a long break were only able to mange a 4^th  place finish by Terry. Over all we proved that we were there to race our bikes and will always be a factor no matter who shows up or where that happens to be. Great showing from everyone!

In the GA state single speed championships Doug Fredricks managed a top 10 finish in the open class!

Once again Doug Pomeranz cranked out a win in the Maryville, TN criterium attacking the field with five to go and staying away. Word is, carrying a frame pump and seat pack can rocket you to the finish. Great job all weekend and I will see everyone at the Tour de Tuscaloosa in two weeks!!

BooKoo-Birmingham Bicycle shows up in force and delivers in T-Town!! With some amazing efforts and great team work we were able to rack up some serious results in the first big race of the season for the entire team. Thanks to everyone for their participation and support of the team it is great to win and better to be associated with a group of quality individuals who race, win and represent our team with class. Thanks!

Georgia Cup Gainesville

Masters Doug Pomeranz chalked up a 3rd in the TT, 3rd in the crit, 1st in the RR and 1st overall!! Andreas is also coming on strong with a 7th place finish in the crit.
