Once again BooKoo-Birmingham Bicycle lines up and takes a couple of wins!
At the Sumatanga training races the boys and girls controlled the “B” race to deliver a 1,2 finish compliments of Darrell and Shawn and the in the spirited “A” race the guys despite a long break were only able to mange a 4th place finish by Terry. Over all we proved that we were there to race our bikes and will always be a factor no matter who shows up or where that happens to be. Great showing from everyone!
In the GA state single speed championships Doug Fredricks managed a top 10 finish in the open class!
Once again Doug Pomeranz cranked out a win in the Maryville, TN criterium attacking the field with five to go and staying away. Word is, carrying a frame pump and seat pack can rocket you to the finish. Great job all weekend and I will see everyone at the Tour de Tuscaloosa in two weeks!!
